A.I. Matics Signs MOU with Keiyo Engineering, Japan, to Collaborate on Vehicle Control Services Business

A.I.MATICS enters the Japanese market. AI-based fleet management solution to be unveiled at IAAE 2024

A.I.MATICS (CEO Lee Hoon), a company specializing in automotive artificial intelligence (AI) video control, announced on the 19th that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with Keiyo Engineering (CEO Toshiyuki Nakai) for AI-based fleet management service (FMS) business.

Through this agreement, A.I.MATICS will enter the Japanese market in earnest, and will localize and supply its AI camera 'Roadscope' series and safe driving platform 'AID' to the Japanese market.

Targeting the Japanese market with 5-channel AI camera & safe driving platform

A.I.MATICS' Roadscope series is an integrated control solution that uses AI to analyze images collected from 5-channel cameras installed inside and outside the vehicle in real time to warn drivers of dangerous situations, and transmit this data to a manager platform for real-time monitoring and operation management. This year, the company plans to supply approximately $380,000 worth of products for trucks under 2.5 tons and over 5 tons, with a target of more than $1.5 million in 2025.

Working with Japanese aftermarket powerhouse Keiyo Engineering

Keiyo Engineering is headquartered in Tokyo and specializes in automotive aftermarket solutions, including dashcams. Through the collaboration with Keiyo Engineering, whose customers include Panasonic, Mazda Parts, and Mercedes-Benz Japan, A.I.MATICS plans to rapidly expand its presence in the Japanese market. In particular, the company will officially launch Roadscope and the AID platform at the 2024 International Auto Aftermarket Expo (IAAE) in September in the Tohoku and Kyushu regions of Japan.

A.I.MATICS currently operates in major global markets such as the United States, Australia, and Israel, and through this MOU, the company plans to actively showcase the technology and competitiveness of its AI-based vehicle control solutions in the Japanese market.
